The Silent Comedy
The Silent Comedy
The Silent Comedy is a San Diego-based group of musicians mixing Americana, Folk and Rock n' Roll into a sound that is best understood by experiencing their live show. Brothers Joshua and Jeremiah Zimmerman started the band to capture the feeling of the bar culture they worked in and the revival meetings they grew up attending. The outcome is an experience that has been described as "a whiskey fueled tent revival."

The Silent Comedy took to the road immediately after their first show and have continued to build on that tradition. The brothers' father was a preacher who sold everything the family owned to travel the world, an experience that shapes the lyrics and DIY ethic of the group. The band is made up of Joshua (bass/vocals) and Jeremiah Zimmerman (keys, vocals, guitar) together with their cousin Chad Lee (drums) and long time friend Justin Buchanan (mandolin/banjo). The band has roots in the craft beer and cocktail scene in California that have added to the rowdy reputation of their live shows. What started as a loyal base of bartenders and beer brewers has grown to a community of dedicated fans all over the world.

The band recently worked with Dave Matthews Band's Boyd Tinsley on an improvisational film/music project entitled "Faces in the Mirror." This led to The Silent Comedy opening for DMB at The Gorge in Washington state in 2011 and 2012.

Through placement in projects such as Hatfields & McCoys, starring Kevin Costner, and the History Channel's original series The Men Who Built America (to name a few), The Silent Comedy has been able to reach an even larger audience that is growing with each shot of whiskey.

The Silent Comedy's new EP, Friends Divide, is available on iTunes now.
Dead Feather Moon
Dead Feather Moon
Dead Feather Moon is a San Diego-based outfit whose distinguished sound marries Rock with Alt-Country and Psychedelic Blues. Their heartfelt performances and rapidly-growing fanbase have critics wondering "Why aren't these guys playing a side stage at Coachella? Dead Feather Moon is that good!" (bigricksrockandrollshow.com/?p=158)

The three founding members Justen Berge, Jesse Kling and Tyler Soule recorded their debut EP, "Leave Heaven To The Birds", in January of 2009 with producer Shaun Cornell (Transfer) covering bass duties.

Following a west coast tour during the summer of 2009, longtime friend, Chris Bowling, was asked to join the band on bass guitar. After writing and playing shows as a four piece for a year, Greg Peters was brought in as multi-instrumentalist for the band during the summer of 2010.

The following six months marked the most prolific, mature songwriting in the band's history. Having worked diligently on new material for over two years, the band re-entered the studio with producer Aaron Swanton (Scarlet Symphony) in February 2011. Their debut full-length album, "Dark Sun", was released on July 1st, 2011.

The band's music receives consistent airplay on radio stations such as 91X and 94/9.
The Liquorsmiths
The Liquorsmiths (formerly Second Tuesdays) are a Folk Rock group born from a collision of contrasting ideas, styles and musicality. They been described as Wilco meets Neil Young meets My Brightest Diamond, but retain a style all their own. Formed in early 2006, members and contributorshail from all over the United States (San Francisco, CA, Denver, CO, Phoenix, AZ, San Diego, CA, and Atlanta, GA), utilizing technology in various forms to collaborate before meeting periodically to tour their newest material throughout the world.
Although notoriously an underground project by in large, performing and releasing material as bonus/secret tracks accompanying various other project releases, founding
members Andrew Thams and Ryan Fisher have recently made moves to bring the group to the forefront of their focus.
The newest single "Devil I Do," has received international praise as it paves the way for their first full length album (tentatively self-titled), set for release in January of 2014.
